shibas are adorable., and very cat like personality wise.. they are not sluts with people, i only met one that was.

Oh my goodness, I'm addicted to watching these pups! So cute! Mary, do you know if they're all spoken for? A good friend of mine is thinking of adding a Shiba...she has Norwegian Elkhounds and loves Nordics...

All the shibas and shiba mixes I have met have been kooky. If you were to come home and find your dog sitting on top of the refrigerator, it's probably a shiba.
Strangely enough, the small percentage I have met seemed to have issues with separation anxiety. Seems strange for an aloof dog. Are they aloof with strangers and more attached to their people? Or were the ones I met just odd balls?

I only know one Shiba, and she's awesome. I don't think her temperament is typical of a Shiba though...she is a love bug LOL. Bought from a petstore of all places :-( She might have a type of SA, she doesn't freak out when her people leave...she just shuts down. But all those pups look like little baby foxes..I just wanna get in there with them and let them climb all over me LOL!

yep, they were on MSN this weekend too, a news channel did a story about them and gave the link to the entire series of web cams from the time they were born to sunday...

SO CUTE!!! I have always wanted a Shiba Inu. When we moved here in Feb. the neighbors had one, he was so pretty!! Kinda crazy though...ran in constant circles.
