In the bottom photo, the dog at the tray in the middle, is the same dog I'm holding. The mark on his back looks like an anchor. The tan spotted one was the one who wasn't doing well and I had to bottle feed. He's a tank and a turd!

I have photos of the pups that I'll share one of these days. Only two puppies remain to find homes, and Zena is back at home. But... The other day she broke out a window at home and ran away from home. Her destination was the shelter. She ended up with 27 stitches. This dog... she absolutely loves her owner. But I think she loved all the attention she received from the staff and visitors at the shelter.

Yes she did. Her owner has had to add fence posts to their out door kennel... since they can no longer dig out, or climb over, Boss figured a way to move the kennel enough that pushed it away from the dig proof surround. He destroyed a kennel panel doing it. So more tweaking has been done with added fence posts to remove the ability of actually moving any part of it. Now that daylight hours are winding down his owner will be home more. (roofer) So hopefully they won't attempt to escape as often. They have been crated inside the last week or so since the last escape this last week. Boss is a crate destroyer though. He's not the leader though, he sticks close to Zena. So if she can't escape her crate, he'll just chill and get into trash, and make a mess. #damndogs.

If I could I would take Zena in a heartbeat. I've told his owner that if ever something happens and he can't keep her, to contact me asap. I'll find a way, or at least help find the ideal home. When people describe the temperament of this breed... She is it. She is tenacious, goofy, tolerant, and bossy. Loves to be loved on and loves to give love. She is smart, stubborn, and eager to please. She is a pretty solid dog, and with the right outlet she would be fantastic to have in the home. I wanted so badly to take a pup home, and I could have. But I just can't deal w/ another puppy without more room and River. These two photos are from last weekend. The pups went over to greet mom and dad. I can't handle Boss on my own as he's a big effing dog, and he is too worried about Zena to behave properly for me. So I didn't let them out to visit, which upset Zena. These two pups have found a home and leave tomorrow. So maybe Zena will chill out on the escapes.
