North Carolina Pit Rescue is a newly formed rescue that rescues pitbulls and pit mixes of all types and works with them to give them the obedience training to live everyday as a normal dog that hasnt had the horriable things done to them that has happen. We are expanding into a 36 dog kennel facility and 12 puppy kennels. All our dogs are seen by the vet and are groomed before adoption. Currently we are accepting donations to help cover the expensive costs it has on the rescue. Any donations from $.01 and up are accepted. Our website is currently down under construction as its being redesigned however we do have a chipin on the coming soon page that will take you directly to paypal to donate. Remember anything helps buy collars, leashes, food, toys, ect.
Thanks alot for reading this and hope you help save a pit.
If you have anything you'd like to donate like collars, leashes, toys, beding ect then email info [at] ncpitrescue.org for the address to send the stuff to.
Thanks! Thomas Powell Owner NC Pit Rescue

Not as of yet. We are working on the non profit status but it takes time and alot of money. We have started the process and are getting closer to finish. We take all temperaments. We have on site dog trainers that work with the dogs to help them with everything.

"All temperaments"? Hope this doesn't come out the wrong way but....even human aggressive temps? That's pretty much viewed as a big no no in the Pit Bull rescue world.

human depends... if its like they growl when you touch them or get near them then we will work with them and see. If its bad to where they try to bite you when you are close ect then we wont take the pit.

so if you get a human aggressive pitbull and say you cant work with it, do you euthanize it or do you keep it in your kennels for life?
