Today i picked up these three parakeets off some guy on craigslist. Decided on the three stooges names after watching them when i got them home.. Rufus wants to eat them which is good. They are chirping and squawking and so far he is ok with their noises.. They are not hand tamed so i have to work on that. They are under a year old and i have no clue if they are male or female

They will probably not tame, it will take a lot of work. Since you have them all in one cage, they have each other. They don't need you. It's great that Rufus has accepted them! But they will probably never be your pets.

I figured that its ok, they keep Angel company during the day while I'm at work . My friend got the all white one to sit on her finger twice, so if i separate him he will be the easiest to work with. I've been told i have 3 males and then someone else on the budgie forum said 2 males and a female .. I have no clue lol. They chirp and a lot, squawk a bit when they want the best perch, and two of them stick together a lot more. So i might separate the one but not sure yet... Angel still gets a ton of attention when i get home from work , i felt bad she was alone during the work days, their cage is diagonal from hers, in the living room so she has company during the day.

I really wanted a parrot, but have to wait until rufus goes deaf as he wont be able to handle parrot squawks, but the keets he is ok with, so i sorta got a parrot fix lol for now
