A local shelter is doing a promotion for St. Patrick's Day. A local newspaper ran an article that begins with " St. Patrick's Day is a happy and joyful day of celebration. To help the homeless pit bull terrier dogs waiting for new homes and families at the West Milford Animal Shelter, it is also the day to celebrate "St. Pitties Day." Join Oscar, Romeo, Angelina and Nina in celebrating their special day." Among the comments were several containing the photos shown below that severely tested my gag reflex. If Mr. Wilkes is a professional and his opinions are accurately expressed in the photos and the following link, wouldn't professional ethics preclude releasing the dogs he has rehabilitated back into society? One of the first links I found for Mr. Wilkes was blog.dogsbite.org/2010/07/pit-bulls-by-gary-wilkes-21st-century.html

Gary Wilkes is a JOKE. He is so anti Pit Bull, I don't know who he is trying to kid with his "I rehab Pit Bulls" line. IF you don't like the breed, fine, but don't sit there and try to pretend you're a friend while talking out both sides of your mouth.
