I snapped this just a moment too late, he had his paws on the heater so he could get a better look outside.
Looking at it now I can see the evidence that he's not healthy. At least to me. He has gained about 3 pounds, but the muscle tone isn't there. Hoping the vet has some answers this week!

Have I mentioned how amazing this dog is? I let him run off leash outside on my sisters 3 acres today. Ever single time I called him, he stopped what he was doing and headed back to me.
