My 7 yo blue pit bull Icis has never had any aggressive behavior towards anyone. But was attacked in the past by two smaller red nose female pits which I broke the fight up myself. She nor the other two had any real injuries. Since then she has been around all types of animals pets and farm alike with no aggressive reactions. But here recently my mother took her when I was going through my divorce and had to stay with her. My younger sister has a female chawawa who is annoying that Icis has gone after 3 times now. But she only does this when the excitement in the room goes up. Like the last time mom spilled her drink and she jumped up and yelled for my stepdaughter to get a towl. The chawawa was across the room and Icis just went after her this time she injured the chawawa and didn't want to release her. The past 2 time she just nipped at the chawawa. My mom is threatening to have her put down or try to rehome her. I've had Icis since she was a puppy. I've got my mom to give the correct training a try to save Icis.
PLEASE HELP ME
I will try anything to save my baby girl.
Oh both Icis and the chawawa are fixed.
And they never have any problem with each other until the (trigger) happens and she just goes right after the chawawa. There has also been a 8 yo male English bulldog who passed away recently and a new male English bulldog puppy who she plays with perfectly. She even plays with my mom's pet dove and the chickens outside. I've spent the last 2 days reading everything I can find that relates to this but I haven't read anything that is like our problem and how to fix it other that put her down or keep her crated. And she is 140lbs and has arthritis in her hips also so a crate isn't really an option.
Please respond to me and help us any way you can.
Thanks again and god bless
