Stupid question...is it acceptable to trim excess hair on APBT/Amstaff ears for show? Whiskers?

good question! I have wondered that myself also. The people I know who show/breed Boxers trim ALL their excess hair, so my Dad thinks he should trim BB's hair...and I say, "he's not in show!"

Stupid question...is it acceptable to trim excess hair on APBT/Amstaff ears for show? Whiskers? Yes it is, for AmStaffs anyway, I even used to trim the hair on Luca's tail. They are all trimmed up and slick for the ring ;D

They are all trimmed up and slick for the ring ;D Just wondering about that. When I showed Dobermans and Rottweilers, I would trim their whiskers. Wasn't sure about Amstaffs in conformation.
