Hah! So, does anyone here play Rock Band? I haven't played in weeks and Will and I just spent the last two hours playing. I "pimp" the drums and I flippin' got blisters on my hands! LOL! I guess that's one game I take for real We're on xbox 360 and infrequently get online and play that way. Majority of the time, we just goof off at the house. Anywho, was just curious. Now that I'm up WAY past my bed time, I'm gonna snuggle up with the doggies and catch some zzzz's

I am a Rock Band fan for sure. Love it. We have it for the xbox 360 as well but unfortunately my husband is...not good...so I usually have to play by myself or go to my friend's house. they have Rock Band 2.

Oh Mary, you do need to play! You'll piss off others who are on higher levels, but they can get over it lol! You gotta start somewhere!
I didn't get what all the hullabaloo was about either until a party of Will's friends. I didn't play but sat and watched and was fascinated by it. It's just a matter of hitting the right colors at the right time with your instrument. It probably sounds SO stupid typed out, but tons of fun.
We have both Rock Band I and II and its definitely a vast improvement to play II. And the wireless drums (all the instruments really) kick some tail! I'm playing on Medium right now but really should start trying to advance to hard. There are SO many fun songs to play and you start to find a deeper understanding of what these musicians put into their work. You'll also hear a new song come out and begin desperately wanting to play it on Rock Band lol!
Shinedown - The Sound of Madness I am DYING for them to put on the playlist for Rock Band. PLEASE! I absolutely want to play that song SO bad!

I've watched people play it before and would crack up if they ever put some of yngwie malmsteen's stuff on it. Even in slow motion you can't see his fingers when he plays some of his stuff...he's a FAST amazing guitarist.

We never made it past Playstation II. I still play NES. OMG NES and SNES were my faaaaaaaaaaavessss!!! I am really not into any of the new fancy high tech ultra-mega graphics games. Gimme old fashioned-y controller and Super Mario 2 and I am g2g.

My sister sent me the Atari Flashback 2!! Just like I remember with the joystick and one button. Woo hoo!! My kids were like, "What the h@ll??"
We grew up with a techy dad, he ran out and bought a Commodore 64 when they came out and we played all sorts of games (Zork, Apocalypse, the games on floppies) and wrote programs that took days just to have a hot air balloon move across the screen once. LOL
But I have some great memories of sitting in the floor playing pong, frogger, pitfall, etc on the old crappy tv! Great stuff.

Haha! We had a Commodore 64 too!
We had this HotWheels game and a Barbie game, and also this cool dreamhouse one where you could paint and decorate your own house. For Atari I liked Asteroids, Space Invaders, and Sky Diver. I think the other one I liked was called Racecar?
My favorite for NES was Kirby's Adventure. It's the only game I've ever beat. On Playstation 2 I play the SIMS and Tony Hawk.
