Hello everyone! My name is Kevin and im from Columbus, Ohio. My girlfriend and I have owned 2 pits, one just recently passed, and the other is 2 years old. I have a few pics here at work, but I will have to post more later... Lotus- Our princess at about 7 months If you notice her back leg turned out to the side... The people we rescued her from accidentally dropped her down the stairs at 4 months old. My girlfriend works at an animal hospital and convinced the people the sign Lotus over to us. I had no idea Jonni (my gf) was bringing her home, but when I saw her I immediately fell in love! Lotus couldnt walk all that well for the first month. We did xrays to see if there was any tears or breaks in her leg, the docs said it was all just stress and sprained. We worked with lotus and she was good as new within a few months. This is Ready - RIP She just recently left us at the end of November. We rescued her at what we estimate to be age 4ish. We had her for about 5 years. To keep the story short, she basically died of liver failure. She is missed everyday. I have lost a few friends in my life, but loosing an animal is sometimes worse, as bad as that sounds. Im just happy she had a good life while we had her. Well ill stop talking now and check out the site! Give me a shout if you are local to Columbus, ohio! ;D

Hey Kevin, glad you made it. I am sorry about your loss of Ready. Yes, I have found losing animals to be just as hard if not harder than losing humans.
Welcome aboard, and feel free to browse and post!

Welcome to the forum! I'm really sorry for your loss, we lost our 14 year old pitty in Sept of 2005 and I know how devastating it can be.
