Pits being killed in Clermont County Animal Shel.

Need advice... our local pound kills ALL pit and pit mixes without even giving them a chance... and they are legal in this county! I don't understatnd why they do this! I've even offered to adopt some and sign anything they want... but they won't allow it! Please can anybody help!!

I would see if I could arrange a meeting with the shelter director and have a lot of factual information about the breed. Maybe they need to be educated and are hopefully willing to open their eyes to change. My local shelter used to do this, but they will now let rescue work with them and will actually adopt pit bulls out to approved hopes.

Maybe you could get together some sort of presentation with educational information and pictures to show them?
