This is the first Christmas with our dogs, and they don't often chew on things they aren't supposed to, so we decided to go ahead and put gifts under the tree.
Well, my step-daughter was the first to have gifts for everyone. She went to Santa's Secret Shop at school. She got Reed and Lola both a tennis type ball. She brought them home wrapped in plastic "gift wrap".
So the dogs have been by the tree(real) sniffing around and not really seeming to care that there is a tree in the dining room. Until they somehow found their gifts.
No joke, they found their gifts and opened them and were playing with them. They did not bother anyone else's gifts. Only their own.
I was not home when this happened, so I'm not sure how it came about. There are now tons of gifts under the tree and none of them are for the dogs, and they haven't been near it.
I decided to keep their gifts in my closet until Christmas morning atfter that incident. LOL
