Very sad, as there were obviously other options for this dog.
No doubt that breed played a role in the judge's decision.
However, at the end of the day, someone didn't contain their Pit Bull properly and another person's dog was killed. I am a bit disturbed by the fact that they are making the Chihuahua out to be the bad guy here. The bottom line is that Lucy is a dog-aggressive breed, was mismanaged, and killed another dog.
The DOGS - both of them - in this case, have to suffer because of human ignorance.
Just a really strong, really sad example of how Pit Bull owners need to go above and beyond the call of duty. There is no room for error.
