Hi i am from MA. I have been posting for a little while now but just decided to make an intro (after some prompting). I have one dog, named Rosie, and she is ten right now. She tore two ACL while playing fetch and we have successfully nursed her back to health. That's basically it, i still work on training her, although getting her to move around is hard with her stiff rear legs. so if anyone has any seated or relatively low energy tricks to teach that would be great. i mean its not that she cant move but after a walk (which is when i like to train her) she is less willing to move. one of the things that makes me laugh is when im trying to get her to do a new trick, she sits and goes through every trick she knows. so any new tricks would be great.

I hate to hear that about Rosie tearing her ACLs, but I'm glad that she recovered well from that!

ya she's fine. it's kinda ironic how she injured them playing her favorite game, but that's life i guess. we've moved on and she gets controlled fetch and many long walks. she only started to get gray around age 9-10.

Welcome officially to the board! Sorry to hear about Rosie's ACLs!!! I had a dog that tore both as well and it was NOT FUN! (And he tore them before he turned 2!)

(And he tore them before he turned 2!) ya it's weird how they can injure themselves when they are the healthiest, but at least now they are stronger than the original (or so says my vet)

Well, it's always nice to have a better idea of who we're talking to so intros always help. I am on about 42 group lists, mostly training and some private lists and yes I am on rawfeeding and a few others but since I learned what I needed to and have been feeding raw for over 3 years, I'm not active.

Welcome, even though we've already had a few conversations! Look forward to more, we seem to have a lot of the same views/opinions!
