i don't think he will be reinstated. i thought he was suspended permanently. i don't think he should speak out against dog fighting unless he changes in a BIG way. donating to shelters/volunteering time, maybe starting a shelter. but less than that he should just stay quiet because i wont be able to take anything he says seriously.

He needs to keep his ignorant mouth shut forever and he should also be forced to clean up the smelliest poo in the world, 24/7!!!! lol, ok sorry, i just seriously loathe that guy...he is dirt...I hope they NEVER let him speak on animal cruelty issues and as far as the NFL goes, they should never let him play again!

I doubt he'd be able to find a sponsor anyway, everyone dropped him and I'm sure no NFL org would want the negative attention.

No NFL team is gonna wanna touch him with a 10ft pole...he has been outta the game for too long, not to mention he wasn't the greatest QB in the world either besides being able to run with the ball and take a hit...but also for the sheer fact of all the negative publicity it will bring them, can you imagine? I don't think there is a team that wants to deal with all the baggage that will come with him.
I don't care to see him opening his mouth one bit...actions speak louder than words and if he truly wants to make a difference then he should do so by starting with donating (maybe he has some money left after his spending sprees before going to jail) to reputable organizations that love the breed as we do (aka NOT FREAKING PETA).

I agree that the NFL should NOT take him back. I also agree I would not want to see him as any sort of spokesperson because he (IMO) is not truly sorry for what he did and I think he couldn't care less abou the dogs. I'm not so sure about the NFL not taking him back. Mind you, I'm not any expert on football matters. But the above article makes me wonder. And I haven't heard anything that leads me to believe that he WON'T continue a career in football. Could just be a lot of people making assumptions, though. It is my understanding, however, the the NFL is notorious for turning a blind eye to players' illeagal activities once they've done the time.

Oh I'm sure he definitely wants to get back in lol. In the past, yes that is pretty much how the NFL has been...but with this commissioner they have now, he has been doing all kinds of stuff when it comes to players activity off the field (suspending them, etc)...so I guess we will just all have to wait and see what happens or doesn't happen!
