Young adult male bully, blue and white, according to shelter is great with other dogs, will soon be formally evaluated and tested with more dogs and also cats, according to staff has a great temperament/disposition, and is housetrained. This is his second time to this shelter, the first time he was reclaimed by his owners but they have not claimed him this time. We really need to point out that this shelter is a place that does NOT adopt out bullies and its only because the staff likes him a lot that he's even getting this chance...so "PLEASE help us find him a foster home so we can help this shelter that is finally willing to give a bully a chance, and maybe change their minds about bullies" Bama Bully will pay for heartworm treatment! We simply need somewhere to house him if he evals okay.

His eval went very well..no red flag issues at all and he gets along well with all dogs. He is being transported down to us tomorrow and will be fostered by my friend who is a trainer, treated for heartworms, neutered and then put up for adoption. I'm excited to meet him and I'll keep everyone posted. We'll likely need to fundraise for his hw treatment soooo...

He's here! New name is Guiness, has lots of medical issues which we will take care of, so far temperament is flawless. He's on a 2 week shut down in a foster home with a professional trainer who has 5 personal dogs as well as boarding dogs. We'll likely fundraise to help with his med costs so you guys start saving your change.

Forgot to mention that the second time he was picked up someone called to report him roaming. ACO showed up to collect him and witnessed him being ATTACKED by a Cocker spaniel. This boy is so...interesting. His head is mollossar-like HUGE compared to his short self. I swear one dog biscuit would cause him to tip forward. He's a bobble head. Muscled! He is lean but cut, even has that noticeable layer of muscle across his rib cage. We are thinking he's at least 3 years old. Possibly 4 years.

I'm going to snap some new ones soon. Trying to give him some down time, he had a 4+ hour transport the other day in 4 vehicles so he's been through alot. I'll definitely post new ones soon, I'll have to get some of him alert, he has a gorgeous face.

The thing that gets me is that soft, eager to approach expression in the first pic above.

He does have a sweet expression. He hasn't been overtly sociable but he's certainly not feeling well. He always wags that tail when you speak to him or he sees you. He likes beer. Hence the name. Y'all don't yell, he only had a taste...we definitely don't need a 60 pound pit bull with a hangover. He also is the type to walk up to you and put his bowling ball head in your lap and just rest it there, looking up at you. Endearing fer sure!
