Yeti is adorable. How'd you end up with a Beagle amongst all those Pit Bulls! And Elwood. OH MY! What a squishy face! And I see that little prick-eared girl found her niche. I'll post this around for ya.

Thank you! Yeti was found by my trainer buddy so she's more of a favor. She's had 5, count 'em, 5 approved homes fall through at home visit point or after the home visit was done. Grrr. Elwood is a cover dog...very cute, found poisoned, treated and recovered. Yep, Miss Evita got a great home with a lady who fostered for Colorado Pit Bull Rescue who now lives on the Gulf Coast.

Oops, just realized I deleted his pix from photobucket. Lemme go add them and I'll post them here. I'm braindead at times.

Now I remember seeing his pictures. My God - how can people do that to an animal?? You guys have really done a full turnabout with him!! It makes me proud to know that there are people out there - like you - that truley care about the forsaken ones.

If you haven't, open Cole's adoption page and paste the link that's in his bio...warning, it's graphic but sure evidence of what people can and will do to a dog. I will NEVER understand how anyone could allow a collar to become embedded.

Thanks also for the compliment on our rescue work. Our vol, Jessie (Tuck's foster mom) has done an amazing job with him!

OMG! Why?? Why would anyone do that?? How freaking hard would it have been for them just to take the dang collar off when he out grew it (by the looks of it when he was maybe 4 months old)?? How could you sleep with yourself at night knowing that you were slowly and painfully killing a pet you must have wanted at one time?? What kind of person could live with themselves and do that to an innocent??
That is so far beyond what my mind can comprehend it might as well be on another planet. I am not normally an aggressive individual - but that owner should have had his dingles put in a vice and squashed.
