I met up with one of the LHS volunteers this morning to work on some loose leash walking with Rockstar. What a sweet girl! She is just BEGGING for her own person. Used as a breeding machine before she ended up at the shelter (she's got some seriously saggy nipples), she has spent the last four or so months at the shelter and is really ready for a home. She is such a doll. No cats, hasn't been tested with small children, not extensively tested with other dogs but seems to ignore them unless they bark at her. Location; Jersey City, NJ. Yeah, she kept looking up at me and her lower lip would get caught and she'd have this adorable, pouty look going and it would just make me melt into a puddle. She was a doll - has a naughty jumping problem, though, and split the vol's lip at one point (not during our session, previous to that). The vol also told me that at one point at the shelter, a busload of highschoolers came to visit, and Rockstar was out and just DYING to get in the middle of them all. She ended up crawling onto the lap of one and curling up into a ball. She's that kinda gurl. ;D |

I'm such a sucker for a red-nosed dog, and she's just beatiful! You can see her soul just pouring out through her eyes.
Many, many foster homes are lost like this... not so bad, tho!
