She was held for nearly a month for a cruelty case, but we finally have her! We picked her up today and can I just say... YAY! This was the guy's 5th charge and all he was ordered to pay was $140 restitution for Sassy and Reese (the red dobie who was confiscated from the property with her). She's safe now and will be fixed up very soon. She's hw+ so we'll be raising money to cover her treatments. Alicia got some new pictures of Sassy today and she's put on a good bit of weight in the month she's been out of that horrible situation.  And this is Reese, who has rescue with the woman who held Sassy for us.  He looks MUCH better now as well.  |

K, here's one of the new pics that Alicia took today when we were dropping Sassy off with her new foster parents. What a difference a month makes huh!   Ya know... we have been told so many times by Am Bully breeders that these dogs will "never" show up in rescue... Reeaaaalllly??? |

Wow! It's amazing all this guy got was a slap on the wrist and these dogs went through this.
I love the after pictures, where they look so much better. Can you get some of the Dobe, too?

We can certainly try! He staying with the girl who held Sassy for us, and she asked us if we could keep her updated on how this girl is doing. |

She still looks SO much better from that first pic. She's going to be totally healthy and happy with you guys in no time! Glad you all were able to help her out!!

Is she supposed to be an American Bully? Her muzzle is soo short (or looks so from the pics), but her ear set is throwing me off. Did you gals think you saw anything else in her? Just curious!
Either way, she is a gorgeous girl!!

She looks all American Bully to me. Her ear set isn't common from what I've seen, but NOT an impossibility. Just a prick eared Am Bully And gorgeous she is We can't wait to see how she improves over the next month! |

Yeah, I thought Am Bully too.
Wow, what a fantastic job you guys have done. You are so wonderful to take these poor things in and help them!!!
I have a special place in my heart for Dobies we had them when I was a teenager.

wow those poor dogs. the ambully looks awesome now, you can double up salmon oil and that will help bring her coat back, and get some organic virgin coconut oil and give her a teaspoon of that in her food and rub it on her fur and that will help too.
