Little Rock City Leaders Discuss Pit Bull Ordinance www.todaysthv.com/news/news.aspx?storyid=60648 Little Rock city officials met Thursday to discuss two pit bull ordinances. The ordinances would put restrictions on the breed. Mayor Mark Stodola and City Director Joan Adcock discussed merging the two ordinances into one that addresses potentially dangerous breeds of dogs. "No other dogs are deemed dangerous right now," said Scott Carter, a spokesperson for the City of Little Rock. "However, should there be another breed in the future the public deems dangerous, it would fall under this ordinance. We would not have to write another ordinance." Carter says the city attorney will draft a new ordinance following Thursday’s meeting. He says it will address protection issues and animal handling issues. The Little Rock Board of Directors will vote on the ordinance next Tuesday evening.

Why do they always show pictures of chained dogs. I'd be happy for them to come in to my house, sit on the couch, and take pics of my pit bull as he romps happily at his feet!

More dramatic....and supports their misguided theories....to show chained or growling or lunging Pit Bulls. Ever notice how some of these news articles reuse a generic pic over and over again, too?
