Marthina, I agree: of course not all the dogs will be saved. But there can be a world of difference in what happens to the dogs when evaluated by someone who ALREADY assumes that most of the dogs aren't saveable, and one who truly has an open mind and will honestly evaluate each one fairly. Lockwood works for Pacelle. The only glimmer I hope I see is that John Godwin has not been heard from.. I wonder where the man who has made his living for the past years proclaiming how dangerous and unsalvageable fight bust dogs are is.. perhaps at a re-education camp like the Chinese Red Army used to send "wrong" thinkers...

" Does he really work for Pacelle? He works for the ASPCA right? I agree that whoever is eval'ing with this outcome in their mind does make a difference for sure. Let's just hope BR's blog was right. Maybe he did change his mind????? Wishful thinking? I'm just really hoping like hell that these dogs get a chance. Of course there will be so many other deciding factors other than Randy. Randy et al can only recommend. This is going to go this way and that before it's over. I just feel like regardless of what's being printed in the news I just want to stay as positive and possible and help if I can. The media scares me too. I know, I feel that daunting feeling too in the back of my mind but I'm not there to make any assessments on anything either. I just don't want to listen to that nagging thought.......and where is JG btw?

Well he USED to work with the HSUS. Maybe that's where the brain gas came from! Ha!
It's Goodwin. Hmmmm.

heheh. I keep thinking "Godwin" because of "Godwin's Law" (which states that every Internet argument evolves to the point where someone is accused of being a Nazi, at which point the argument completely deteriorates, not that I'm going to accuse Goodwin of being a Nazi, or .............) lol

Maybe he's working on some other project. Wonder what it could be... I know! He's fundraising for that huge temporary respite kennel for fight bust dogs that HSUS is going to build!
