bluedogstate.blogspot.com/No prosecution, no conviction... but this man almost lost his beloved dogs thanks to HSUS and its cronies. Not to mention the damage to his family.

I had some trouble finding the before and after vids.....here's one:
....I hate how these dogs are kept on chains but seriously, those are fat, sleek, healthy looking dogs.
Fast forward to after they were returned.....the b/w dog's pasterns just HURT to look at.

Anyone else read the above blog? Watch the vids? Thoughts, etc? I went through a phase were I believed the big bad humane societies really were on a rampage trying to eradicate the APBT breed, unfairly accusing people and killing dogs. I'm not really of that mindset anymore, although I know - as above - it happens and people get treated unconstitutionally. Dogs killed for no reason, or put through hell before being returned.
The above blog also brings up a good point: That people are scrambling over dogs that are the property of individuals *not even convicted yet*. Rescues and shelters are not to blame here - the dogs need HELP no matter what, they are innocent and living, breathing souls. But it is disturbing, nonetheless. The whole thing. It's soooo complicated - the dogs as evidence, property, etc etc.
HSUS is scary. Their war on dog fighting seems more of a witchhunt at times then a well thought out, legitimate fight against animal abuse. Their 'snitch line' is concerning. But I do not think - as some do - that they are 'out to make the APBT an extinct breed'. I really do think they are trying to put an end to dog fighting. They go after ADBA folk because ADBA is the mainstream registry that is most closely tied to gamedogs.

well, I don't think HSUS cares a rat's a** about pit bulls. They only care about "dogfighting" and using their campaign as a fundraising tool. A witchhunt, as you say. They certainly don't care about any purebred breed, let only the APBT. Do they care about dogs at all? Well, certainly some of their staff and volunteers do. But Wayne? John Godwin? Doubt it.
