They are willing to scoop up a dog down here in NJ and I'm leery.

I don't even think my investigation will end up mattering. The rescue that currently has this dog is just looking to dump her and I don't think they really care WHERE she goes. Last I heard they are still considering Blue Skies and now SPBR.....

This is an all breed rescue looking to dump this Pit Bull they have kenneled somewhere, btw. It just came out that some Chows they pulled from a high kill and dumped into another rescue ended up being a hoarder (90+ dogs, two dead in crates). Think that would have put the fear of God into them a little bit, but nooooo.....

When did rescue stop being about SAVING dogs and caring about their ULTIMATE WELLBEING?!? I'm just hearing about too much crap in the rescue world lately.

omg if the dog is sent to sbpr its over.. he placed a dog in ontario that he labeled a kelpie mix that is a pitbull mix.. god knows what wil happen to this dog if he gets ahold of it.

have they tried Rawhide rescue,Rogers rescue or 11th hour rescue? they might be able to take the dog your friend has.

and rescues do mostly suck, most are in it for the glory and not the welfare of the dogs...
