Hello All and thank you for taking the time to read this:
My name is Nicole and i am from West Palm Beach, Florida. My reason for posting this is that my 1 year old pit bull is in need of a LOCAL TEMPORARY FOSTER HOME. I adopted Tai from the local animal shelter when he was about 10 weeks old. He is trained & EXTREMLY friendly with all people and other dogs. He currently lives with 3 other small dogs ( A 6lb male maltese, a 15 lb male dachsund, and a 7lb female italian greyhound). Tai is very submissive especially to the dominant male dog (the daushand).
He was tested at the animal shelter and is non aggresive. He is great with kids, my roomate has a 2 year old and he absolutley adored him even when the baby wanted to sit in his cage and follow him around to pull his ears and tail =).
He is extremly sweet and loving! And is great for those late night movie cuddles =)
He is trained VERY well. He was cage trained and is now sits at the door when he needs to go outside however if no one is home for the day when we go to work i do keep him in his cage.
My reason for needing a foster home for Tai is that i am currently almost 5 weeks into a 6 week substance abuse treatment program. Tai is currently at my parents house but they are in the process of moving and it was reccomended by my couslsler that i go to a halfway house in order to continue my recovery process. At first i declined knowing that Tai would not have a home and then i realzized that in order to care for Tai i must first take care of myself and do what is best for me which in turn is best for US. My halway house is in Delray Beach, Florida. I am signing a 6 month commitment so as of right now Tai needs a home for 6 months however if you arent able to commit to the full 6 months i am also open to other options. I am willing to provide financial support for the care of Tai such as vet appointments and food if needed as well as his cage.
