Hey Jay.... Sounds interesting. Tons of Pit Bull folks in NJ, for sure! Couple things..... There are a few established Pit Bull clubs that you may want to consider instead of going through the hassle of starting your own. For instance, the ADBA-sanctioned Tri State APBT Club: www.adbadog.com/tristateapbtc/p_home.aspAlso, Deleware Valley American Pit Bull Terrier Club Rich Issel, PO Box 1651, Blackwood, NJ 08081 (609) 228-2060 (This is the only info I could find on them right now, may be old/outdated). Or, if you are really enthusiastic about starting your own club, setting one up through either the ADBA or even better the UKC (see below link) would be a good idea, as these are legitimate, estabalished organizations. www.ukcdogs.com/DEclubs.htmAlso look into contact the NAPBTA: www.napbta.com/

Well, I'd be interested to see what you come up with, and to possibly get involved may be fun! But personally, I would not get involved with a club that was through APBR, as I do not consider them reputable.

ill take it into concideration and see what the process is for startin one through UKC also. right now its all just an idea i have....still in research mode. in the military we always say "piss poor planning equals piss poor performance" Well keep on researching, and if you have any questions, let me know I definitely want to see where this leads!

I would avoid APBR as well. They aren't reputable, and you probably won't get the most reputable members if you are sanctioned through them - especially if you are looking at inviting breeders. Reputable breeders may very well run away, and irresponsible breeders may lock onto you like leeches.
