Fay is from the big MO Bust. Fay was released today by the courts and by her evil dog fighter owners. Fay is a survivor, a face of the sad reality of pit bull fighting. She is a victim of greed, money, and a legal system that needs to be strengthen to put dog man in jail for a very long time.
We are currently looking for a plastic surgeon that can help Fay. Dogs lips are needed to gather food into the mouth, hold saliva to keep the teeth healthy, and a sensory tool. Her lips were torn and then cut off by humans.
Please support Phoenix House. Phoenix House will assist dogs that suffered as victims to become members of society. Breed ambassadors.

I am so excited that Fay has finally left the bunker and gone home! Mutts-n-Stuff has been working so hard to assist HSMO in caring for the dogs, assessing temperaments, and reaching out to reputable and trustworthy rescues around the country to find foster/forever homes for as many dogs as possible. Phoenix House will be the fulfillment of a dream that so many of us have had - a half-way house and sanctuary of safety for dogs taken from fighting busts. Phoenix and Fay represent the hopes and possibilities for those dogs who have been severely damaged, both physically and emotionally, by the criminals who abuse them for personal profit. This will be a place for the dogs to heal and realize their potential. It truly is a beautiful thing! |

Sadly, for those who don't know, Fay passed away Dec. 28th. Though she is gone, her memory will remain with us, and no matter how great or small our contribution, will help us to keep fighting for these dogs. Mutts N Stuff has set up a memorial fund for her to help pay for Fay's Phoenix House. They are also selling a 2010 calendar, with Fay being featured, with all proceeds going to the Phoenix house. Check out their website.... My heart aches for Fay and the countless others who never had their happily ever after.

rest in peace Fay.... lets hope something good and positive comes out of fays suffering for the good of the whole breed and may someone grab those creeps that did this to fay , cut off thier own lips... GOD ..I would love to get these creeps , can not wait.. and may they burn forever in hell
