Went to a fundraiser for Animal farm Foundation called BIkers for Bullies. I was very interested in getting involved with their rescue but it is a little too far for me to volunteer/foster. But close enough to attend events.
Anyway I met one of the dogs for adoption. animalfarmfoundation.org/available_dogs.php?id=37
Several of the adopted and all I can say is WOW! I met some of the most amazing dogs ever. Every one of them were exceptionally behaved and focused on their handler.
Then there was the disc demo. One of the rescued Thelma put on her show. WOW! just look at the video animalfarmfoundation.org/view_article.php?id=81
When I am ready to adopt another i know where I am going.

I have a friend who volunteered there and got her girl Diva from them as well. They are a great group!

Meeting these dogs in person I was just amazed. I cant even explain. Usually in public where other dogs are present. I feel like I have the best behaved and greatest dog. This time I was among very well behaved dogs. Who all were very focused on their handler/owner. And I felt like I needed to do more work with Rocky. Especially when he was the only one to loose it when the disc demo started. My fault cause I was not prepared as I was not expecting it.
Only Randy was there the other dogs were Alumni. I am still working on getting my photos together.

For the awesome feeders they sent me for the shelter and pit bull info. Great stuff.
Since it would be hard for me to volunteer because i live close to two hours from their shelter they sent me stuff so I can volunteer from a distance and help pit bulls in my area.
