I received an email from a shelter worker and they are looking for outside help with a new Pit Bull program her otherwise breed-UNfriendly shelter is implementing.
I wanted to recommend some resources for her.

A LOT of my dogs come from Ohio, because they are so breed unfriendly I cannot do much, since I am a small rescue, but if there is one or two dogs they are desparate to get out of there they can always forward the info to me.... SunraysPitBulls@aol.com You never know when we will be able to help!

Yeah it is so sad. I work mostly with Knox county. There is a dear woman who pulls the friendly, sweet, happy go lucky dogs, she has them vetted right away and meets me in Harrisburg with them.. She is wonderful. So if anyone even needs help with transport from Ohio we can probably figure something out.

Isn't that Shana Klein's stomping ground? Do you know her well enough to reach out and see if she has any recs in that area?
