...in/ around Colorado Springs, CO please! A friend of mine there is thinking about getting a pibble. She knows nothing about the breed so I'm going to have to do some edumacatin', but first I wanted to find out if she could get a pibble there, and what the surrounding counties say about BSL. Thanks all!

There's a list of all the cities and counties that have BSL. I believe it's on this website somewhere. I was just looking at it the other day to make sure we were safe on the next military move!

no BSL in Colorado Springs or nearby towns. Denver and its suburbs are the places to be most careful. Tell your friend to contact Lauren Fox at Colorado Springs All Breed Rescue: www.haveanicedog.org/. Be sure your friend understands that if she knows nothing about the breed, responsible rescuers are going give her a hard time about adopting one... and that's a good thing. She might want to consider volunteering to work with pit bulls to get to know what they're like. Also Colorado Pit Bull Rescue: copitbullrescue.blogspot.com/
