We at Ella's Lead have recently launched (as of Saturday) our "Collars for Causes". ellaslead.com/collars_for_causes
We simply pick a few rescues per month that we support and we design a collar and/or lead for them with or without their creative input (some just tell us to come up with a design, and some decide on a design themselves).
These rescues get 10% of the proceeds from each collar of theirs we sell.
I had this design in mind, and I wanted to make it for our Collars for Causes.
With every purchase of The Stagger Lee Collar, Turtle Rescue of Long Island (http://www.turtlerescues.org) will receive 10% of the sale to help rehab turtles and tortoises and to help educate the public on proper turtle care.
Julie came highly recommended to us, and we are proud to support a reputable tortoise rescue.
Here is The Stagger Lee Collar, I decided to use brass spots because redfoots have a gold/tan color on their scutes. And the red rhinestones represent the red spots they have their arms and legs.
But having said that, customers will have the option of having silver colored spots instead of brass, and they will be able to switch out the red rhinestones for a different stone as well if they'd prefer that. They can also choose a different colored suede lining.
The side:
And Stagger Lee sez, "This collar iz 100% Stagger Lee approoooveded! Now, u haz mushroom 4 teh Stagger Lee, plz??"
I do not have this listed yet, as I'm still determining the purchase price, but I will have it listed soon.
ETA: The Stagger Lee tortoise in the last picture is NOT included. You must buy your own Stagger Lee teh Tortimus, k?
