I just have to share how proud I am of Dharma. She graduated Level 2 (Manners) of her training this past weekend. Her wonderful trainer Laura made her an awesome certificate that has a picture of Dharma running through an agility tunnel. My little bust dog tripod who was afraid of walking through doorways less than 6 months ago, is now doing modified agility courses! We're hoping that she can take (and pass ) the CGC test this Summer and then do therapy certification in the Fall. ;D Dharma just blows me away. This is a dog that had NO positive socialization with people or other dogs, spent the first 3 years of her life on the end of a tow chain in the dirt, had her leg brutally mutilated and partially amputated by the dog fighters, and was forced to breed litter after litter. She loves all people, all dogs, all animals. Her personality and temperament are just amazing. I'm so proud of how far she has come since we started training in November.

Be cool if she could pass CGC at Bully Bash May 30. Well I guess her Aunt Gale can have a chat with her about that when you see her. Maybe YOU can convince her to reliably stay in a down when a new person walks into the room!

reliably stay in a down for new person entering? That is the most difficult. Not sure Rocky ever really acomplished that. That one is the absolute most difficult. Got any pointers?

Dharma is pretty fricken great, but ya know what, so is her mommy for being such a wonderful partner and teacher!
I swear I get teary just thinking about this dog some times, and I swoon over her pix. In fact, this thread needs some Dharma pix!
What an amazing testament to the breed and for bust dogs in particular.
