Watching Jurassic Park. One of the best scenes is when Dr Grant grabs the electric fence and pretends to be electrocuted. I always LOL at that! This must be what enspired me to draw velociraptors last night... One of my favorite movies, too!

I've been on a dinosaur kick lately, thanks to Netflix.

Watched On The Road the other night, as well as Night of the Demons remake. I liked both. Neither was great or anything, but enjoyable. (You'd get way more out of On the Road if you read the book first).

'Robot & Frank'. Amazing, beautiful, funny, heartbreaking...I can't explain how much I love this movie and how much it touched me.
'Safety Not Guaranteed'. Quirky, semi-romantic movie about time travel. Really really liked it, thought it was sweet and oddball. (currently streaming on Netflix, FYI)

I'm watching this when I get home later:
Vegucated
Vegucated is a guerrilla-style documentary that follows three meat- and cheese-loving New Yorkers who agree to adopt a vegan diet for six weeks and learn what it's all about.

Saw 'Perks of Being a Wallflower' last night. I really loved this movie. Thought it was really well done. Very touching.

So Evil Dead was pretty awesome (if you are a fan of the original ones, then stay after the credits). There are so many cringe-inducing moments!! I really enjoyed it.
Also Jason and I rented 'The Bay' from Netflix (disc, not streaming). If you like horror movies that make you cringe, ecological thoughtfulness, some gore, lots and lots of cringeworthy moments, and way too many actual real life things that make you even more scared...then seriously watch this movie.
Seriously, this movie made me jump more times than Evil Dead did, lol.

Saw the movie 'John Dies at the End". I could see how this makes non sense to someone who read the book, and skips over so manyt hings you feel like "WTF am I watching?".
The book is so much better, and oddly enough tries to make more sense. The movie actually got rid of really really critical characters and plot points that would have helped you feel like 'Oh, ok. I know why that is happening".
I did the like the two lead characters, they played Dave and John really well.

Watched The Factory last night. Somewhat disturbing
Also The Killing Jar. I liked both, a little better than average imo
And...Dirty Girl laughed my ass off alot. hokey at times but great cast. Dwight Yoakum is sooo good at playing an asshole.

I saw a few decent horror-type movies recently. I think some people on the forum may enjoy these:
*American Mary *Alyce Kills (fun slasher-type movies with cool female protagonists) and *Dark Skies (I was pleasantly surprised by this one. Creepy!)

World War Z...to see or not to see?
I LOVED the book, but the script that was greenlighted doesn't look anything like the book. Maybe if I convince myself it is just another zombie flick and NOT World War Z I can enjoy it. :/
