Look! I'm a human trainer! If I pull out a shotgun and shoot you, you'll listen to me! Yeah, that's pretty much it - it's supressing behavior through threat of physical violence. There is a reason you drop to the floor when the guy waving the gun at the bank tells you to. Doesn't mean you like him, doesn't mean you don't want to tear his head off - just means at that moment, time and place, you are weaker and at his mercy.

Or, given the opportunity, you fight back. Guy turns his back, you charge him. Trainer gives the dog a chance, he bites him. Now who's the bad one?

Well if I 'pop' my dog and hit him enough times into submission then when he bites me its because he's a bully breed and they are unpredictable man-eaters!

OMG! THAT'S what we should do to this guy!!! GREAT idea! Who's got a shotgun??
...Too bad that goes against what I stand for...doesn't mean it doesn't cross my mind from time-to-time though.
If this guy does get air time I will most definately be standing with you, banded together, Mary. I HATE that people already know about him and are "praising" his erroneous tactics.
