Sunday June 6th, 11am-4pm we will have a table at the second annual Paw Prints on the Canal. It will be held at Canal Park in Northampton PA 18067. There will be many rescues, animal vendors, education, food and fun for the whole family! Bring out the pups to say hello! Funds collected for this event through vendors and raffles will benefit Northamptons K-9 unit  |

I have one pic of the table, but then it kinda got nuts. We always have a bunch of wonderful people stop by, and then some not so wonderful people. All my volunteers have kids so our table is full of children. One lady walked by and told us how afraid of the breed she was. And the kids were actually telling her how much they loved their pit bulls and how great they are! I had to judge a dog talent contest which was awesome! The weather was just bad, first WINDY, then HOT and HUMID, then a down pour! The wind blew my brand new tent down and broke it!  Jons (our friend who passed away) dad came out with Jons dog Cali, and some of our previous adopters. Wish I took more pics, but once the rain came it was a free for all! Not too bad of a day though! I really want a find the pit bull magnet board! I printed one out, but it was kinda small and a lot of people didnt notice it. Lots of real pit bull info on our table!  |

It sounds like overall it went well :-) We managed to avoid the rain (which started when I was trying to unload the car at the end of the day  ) but it was VERY windy which was a problem for us cuz things kept getting knocked over no matter how much tape, string, and weights we used. Sorry your tent broke, that sucks :-( ETA: thanks for putting RPB stuff out |
