Ok family.... I was out side with Kojack this morning in the yard and ran across a tennis ball... Well I tossed the ball a few feet and he shot after it like a bat out of hell.. That was to be expected but here is what threw me off.. He brought it straight back and dropped it at my feet.I was like "good boy Kojack!" So to make sure it wasn't a fluke I did it again but this time adding the " go get it" command and the "drop it" command when he brought it back. Well I did it about 10 more times and each time I got the same results. Now tell me this... Is my dog gifted or is this just natural. I know pitties are crazy smart but Kojack aka Jackie blue britches is only around 10 weeks old.

He does sound like a smart little man! Keep working with him and I'm sure he'll be a breeze to train.
My dogs love to play "throw this for me and I'll come real close to you and then run away so you can't catch me and I laugh as I run away"

They are smart. Mine is very smart but does not play fetch. He does the throw it I will get it. I throw and he gets close and runs right past you hoping you will chase him wait in a bow position and as soon as I get close he runs again. Occasionally he will pick up something and drop it at my feet. Sounds like you will have fun with that little pup. I wish Rocky played fetch.

I'm jealous! My dog does not play fetch. I actually haven't had a dog that would play fetch in many years.
