Hi all. I know I haven't posted in a long time. But I have a treadmill I no longer can use, and if anyone here can use it they're welcome to come pick it up, I'm not asking any money for it. I live in central NJ. I bought it many years ago for Jackson to help with his severe separation anxiety. He loved it. And it helped alot by keeping him exercised. Now that he's gone I don't need it as the other two are not the least bit interested, and don't need to use it. It's a carpet mill, fairly quiet, and can accomodate a dog up to about sixty pounds (Jackson was 50 lbs). One of the side panels broke in half, but you only need to cut a piece of masonite to fix that. It works just fine, all you need to do is spray a little silicone lube on the piece under the carpet and it's good to go. If you're interested, email me at d.lester@verizon.net. Here's an old picture of the little guy in his prime...

Hi Dave! So sorry to hear about Jackson but I know he lived a long and wonderful life with you and your pack.
Oh how I wish I could get Harley to use a treadmill esp. since she too has bad separation anxiety. I have tried her on my own treadmill but she has no interest whatsoever!
In any event that is nice that you are willing to give it away and I am sure somebody will prob. snatch it up!
Know things are hectic with you but don't be a stranger!

Thanks, Michelle. 16 years nearly to the day.
A little OT, but I feel the one other thing that helped Jackson kick the SA was to go to a raw diet. I can't even begin to guess why, but nearly all the anxiety behavior stopped not long after the diet started. He was an BARF for about four years, and even after I stopped the diet he had very little SA behavior.
I hope someone here can use it, if not I'm going to recycle it.
And yeah, I have my hands full with the shelter.

Wow can't believe nearly 16 years to the day!
Harley has been on raw for about six years....maybe eventually it will kick in....LOL
And yes I know how busy that shelter is and am sure your time is limited!
