It's Pit Bull Halloween Costume Contest!
C'mon and join the fun! This is the first ever Proper Pit Bull Howl-o-ween Costume Contest! And it promises to be a howlin' good time.
Whether you're a spectator rooting for your favorite entrant, a serious contender for one of our very cool, very bully prize packages or whether you're scoping out halloween costumes for pit bulls--there's something for everyone.
When you think about it, Halloween is a great time for us pit bull owners to show the world that our beloved bullies are indeed part of the family.
After all, we dress up ourselves and we dress up our kids. Should your pittie really be the only one running around the house naked on Oct. 31? Well, let me re-phrase that.
Shouldn't your fur child be part of the festivites too? I say that's a big YES!!!

How to Enter This Contest
We've made entering the contest easy and fun. Just fill in the entry form below. Follow the prompts for giving us a little narrative about your bully, your bully's costume and why your dog should win our Howl-o-ween Costume Contest. Upload anywhere from 1 to 4 pics of your pit bull in costume. And, you're basically good to go. BUT, before you do, please note the following guidelines:
Please read the Official Contest Rules. I simply cannot stress this enough. The official rules contain information on deadlines, eligibility requirements, voting regulations--stuff you really do need to know. By the act of entering the contest, you are agreeing to abide by these rules. So, you need to know what they are.
Important! Once you complete your entry, you will be asked for your email address. We must have this. Otherwise, we have no way of contacting you if you are a prize winner. We will never use your email address for any purpose other than to contact you about your entry. But, we do need it if you want to be eligible to claim a prize.
Your photo and write-up must be your original work. It cannot be copied from another source. The dog in the photo must be your pet or foster.
Your entry must contain both a photo and a narrative to be eligible to win a prize. Entries with only a photo or only a narrative will be disqualified.
The winners will be decided by popular vote. The deadline for entries to be accepted is midnight October 22, 2010. Voting will begin the next day. Limit one vote per email address. Be sure to tell your friends, family, co-workers and online acquaintances to come back to this page to vote for your dog between Oct 23 - Oct 27.
While I wish I could tell you that we can ship prizes anywhere in the world, we just can't. Prizes can only be shipped within the United States. If your entry is selected as one of the top three, and you do not have a U.S. ship to address, we will acknowledge your winning status on this website and make a donation in your name of the prize items to a pit bull rescue group.
