I just re-read their book, Dogs, and I cannot recommend it highly enough for anyone who wants to expand their knowledge of the domestic dog above your average "dogs are wolves and should be dominated" or "behavior is in the genes" theorist. Interesting article, though it's kind of ironic that there is an ad for the dog whisperer book in the left margin of the page.

LOL Actually, that's a DIFFERENT dog whisperer - Paul Owens. He was around WAY before Cesar Millan, and he is TOTALLY positive. ;D

I love that book, and also highly recommend it. I think it should be required reading for anyone who works with dogs in a professional capacity.
