I have a 4yr old male huskey and we just took in my daughters 7mnth old female pit. She is a loveable mush! Both dogs get along wonderful and play and share and doggie wrestle. She cry's if he is out of her sight for more than 5 minutes. I keep reading articles about not allowing them to play wrestle or tug-a-war with each other and that two aggressive dogs should not be left alone ever. Is there anything I should worry about as she gets more mature and stronger or anything I should not allow them to do? I am new to the breed and she has really put a new light on my fear of bullies ( I love my mush dog).

I would never leave them alone together but I see no harm in letting them play with each other like that. If they get to rough teach them "go lay down" and i think you should be fine!

when dogs are young that is how they teach each other what is acceptable and what is not when playing. if they get to "into it" break them up but other than that it's just normal dog behavior.

just be prepared, some pitbulls are VERY rough and VERY vocal when they play, they growl, snarl, make all sorts of weird noises that might sound bad.. but it isnt.. allow the dogs to play supervised, and make sure when no one is around they are crated and not left loose alone. since you have now an opposite sex you should be ok, male/female get along better then male/male or female/female , but remember, the female should start maturing at 9 months to 2 years old, and she might decide she hates the husky once mature, if that is the case, then it will be a total separation 24/7 so be prepared to do that. normally male/female dogs get along fine with supervision. it all depends on the dog..
