Furthermore, finding toys that are in the Venn Diagram center of "Toys Andrew can't eat in 5 seconds flat" and "Toys that 10 week old Valentine won't get injured by". LoL Venn Diagram. Think I'll have to throw the chewable toy analogy into one of my presos for work ;-) Re the antlers..Jackie is only mildly interested in it...same as the sterilized beef bone.

Marc, have you tried real, unsterilized beef knuckles ala' BARF? I bet she'd be interested in THOSE ;D Kind of freaked out by the raw piece...but yed, i have two in the freezer from the supermarket...that will no longer be utilized for soup any precautions with the crate bedding? i personally dont want to pick up some kind of bacteria..which is why the raw thing freaks me a bit.

you can take the crate bedding out when you give her the bone, (just watch the marrow as its very rich and will cause the runs) and then when she is done wipe down the crate plastic pan with white distilled vinegar . you wont pick up any bacteria as long as you wipe down the crate so you are ok:)

Yeah I was freaked by it too. He chews the bones in the crate. When he is done I wipe his paws. After he cleans bone out I wash the bone and it becomes a toy bone like the nyla bones.

Guess I spoke too soon on the SonicBall... Andrew finally managed to destroy one, which meant the other wasn't far behind. Well, phooey! Still, at under $5 a piece at least I can afford to replace them!

My pit bulls killed the Bumi pretty quickly, however the GoughNut Stick they have is pretty indestructible. Doesnt even have a chunk out of it, after months of SERIOUS playing! They also like the Huck and the Hurley from the same line as the Bumi. They eventually get destroyed but last a pretty long time!

When it comes to disc/frisbee there is only one that can hold up to not only my pit bull the chewer but also held up to my dads 2 ausies the obsessed disc players. I have had to buy more not because they get destroyed but because they get lost. I have 3, 2 of them are over 2 years old now. I buy the Jawz ugly. Rocky is a good frisbee catcher, unfortunately he does not care to play the game. Unless I have food reward. But when my dad comes to visit with his dogs they play hard and Rocky plays keep away and tug with the disc. This is the one I buy Jawz ugly cause its cheaper and I have one regular that I got in a store it is Orange the thought was easier to find. LOL skyhoundz.com/cgi-bin/commerce.cgi?search=action&category=1118I truly swear that they do not break. When the edges get rough I take a dremel to it to re smooth it. Here is a thread showing a video you will see the orange one and my dads dog finds her black one that ended up getting lost that day and we had it here for over a year. therealpitbull.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pix&action=display&thread=4058and here is one that was on another thread of Rocky playing with his Disc, video not working on the thread. It was mixed over so you did not hear me talking so annoying. BTW I had chicken or he would never bring it back. Here is the thread in case you are interested. therealpitbull.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=pix&action=display&thread=2884

Sweet! I'll have to look! I often look over the clearance area at PetSmart because Andrew and Valentine both go to the Banfield hospital for their vet.

Daisy loves the non-edible nylabones but they have to be textured.. she doesn't like the smooth ones. So far that is the only thing that has lasted in our house
