Jackie likes to rip apart certain toys. Pulls the tags, ears, wings off of certain toys. Rips the fur off of the Kong tennis ball toys. And pulls apart certain plastic toys.
Good news is that she doesn't swallow any of it..she likes to spit it out. Better news is that she IS chewing HER TOYS.
Anything i need to be concerned with?
btw...certain soft toys that squeak she wont pull apart. she just mouths them.
Thanks!

Nope, just watch to see that she doesn't eat any of it. Pits loooove destroying toys! Try looking into indestructible toys that will last you a bit longer.

Pits are very adept at destroying most toys even the so called "indestructible ones" LOL
You can try stuffing the kongs if you haven't already done so.
There are some pretty good toys out there now made for big chewers. Harley has one made out of firehose material and that has held up. She also has some toys brand name tuffies and there is one other brand that she has that is pretty strong...I will check.
No experience with these but think Bumi, and Galileo toys are good.

On jefferspet.com I get my Chubbs some beef trachea for $1 a piece (6 inches) they last longer than the bully sticks and are cheaper. He just loooooves them, but be careful where you let them chew it (it can get stinky/greasy)

it seems every pit bull has a different definition of what "indestructible" is! For some, the "cuz" toy works, except for the feet.. ;D My dogs love the "Hurley" toys, but they do eventually chew off the ends There's a fairly new one, called "goughnuts" If you want to give her the soft toys for the pleasure she gets in ripping them apart, you can look in thrift stores in the kids section. But watch out for plastic eyes, and sometimes the stuffing is pellets rather than fluffy stuff. 2 good online stores are www.sitstay.com (they have 20% off some toys now, including the Hurley) and www.dog.com

For some, the "cuz" toy works, except for the feet.. ;D wings, feet, ears, tags, loops and tails dont last at all...and i do enjoy watching her enjoy ripping them apart. i may try a Galileo bone, but she's really not into the rubber or hard plastic. The elks antler she enjoys but it was $$$. will let you know how long it lasts.

Battle lost. Very few toys here. If it cant be chewed no interest. Bully sticks just dont last long enough for the money. Going to try the new site posted recently on another thread. Rocky has particular Nyla bones he likes. Forget the Goughnuts for him, Maryellen gave me one so far it has sat in the toybox. Rocky has taken longer to destroy stuffies with age. For me cheap ones are better destroy throw away. Even better is making my own out of fleece. Tugs and stuffies. Other favorite Soda Bottles. We drink. He plays (supervised only) destroys puts into recycle gets treat.

I just stick with rope toys. I can buy them from the dollar tree and the dogs have a blast with them. I would love to invest in the Kong wobbler and a jolly ball, but don't have the funds right now.

FYI I don't recommend rope toys except for supervised play due to the stringy bits that come off and can be ingested.

Oh yes have found many strings in da poop. He has also ingested the fleece pieces from tugs that I make. I can not leave those out. But he will eat it even during supervised play. As I said he has gotten better and enjoys more to just bite down and squeek a stuffy. I have found the Fat Cat to be a soft stuffy that he enjoys. It lasted for a good amount. Once a small hole its over. I sew it back up and he will go for the area I sewed. THis reminds me I need to find one for christmas. I have been having difficulty finding them last year got it cheap in homegoods. The stuffy that has held up the longest is a cheap made bone shaped stuffy with a squeek in middle. Came with a dog blanket I bought at BJ's. Possibly because it has no ears or eyes or anything to pull on with his little teeth. If it rips then he will kill it.

I throw the rope toys away once they start getting torn apart and when the dogs aren't being supervised they're in their crates and the rope toys stay out. I can't take rope toys away from Keona. They're her favorite thing ever. lol
I've had Kongs before, but if Lady gets a hold of them for more than a few minutes they're dead. I have yet to find anything she can't rip apart.

Andrew can destroy a Tuffy in about 30 mins, and chewed straight through the seams of the firehose toys. Furthermore, finding toys that are in the Venn Diagram center of "Toys Andrew can't eat in 5 seconds flat" and "Toys that 10 week old Valentine won't get injured by" I've found ONE thing they both LOVE to death! It's a cheap $4.86 ball from Walmart of all places called simply "SonicBall". It's about the size and color of a racquetball and makes obnoxious barking and other zany noises - and it took Andrew almost a month to break the noisemaker - and still has yet to puncture the rubber to try to get out any of the noisemaker parts. For that price, I'm buying stock in Walmart and whatever company makes these badboys!!!!! I also talked with a very well-informed local business owner who recommended antlers and the goughnuts so I'm trying those (once each comes back in stock as he says he's perpetually sold out due to others like us needing "indestructable toys").
