So Jackie taught herself something new today. I was out shoveling snow and Dana was in the house in another room. I looked up and saw her in my front bay window watching me. Show jumped on the couch then onto the large window box. M
In addition to that, some time later in the day, we were in that room(which we never use but her crate is there) and she just walked right in jumped on the couch and tried to look out the window. We used "off" and she Got down, then she walked around jumped back up, and laid on the couch. We told her off again.
Right now there are boxes on the couch to stop her from jumping up on them. She's not done anything like this since we got her and the only thing is that today I laid on that couch to read a book while she was in crate eating raw bone.
How do i use positive methods to stop thus unwanted behavior. I'm not a dog on furniture type of guy.

treat for behavior off the couch- laying down near the couch, sitting next to the couch, it will take time as she doesnt know the rules, but if you keep up the work using your "off"and then treating her once she is off she will get the hint... OR .......just give in as they make excellent leg/bodywarmers when you are laying on the couch lol.....

Harley is allowed on our family room couch-in fact she is sleeping on it as I type this...she is not allowed on the living room couch although we are never in there so she really has no need to be on it! Agree with ME they are excellent heaters LOL
Since you do not want her on the couch then I would do as ME says...use off command and then reward her.
