my gsd would go out in most weather , but rufus has always been a wuss with weather. some mornings he will go out and just pee then drag me back home to go back in bed. even if i drag him out he will sometimes protest and not go potty at all lol... its not pretty when i leash rufus while he is in bed and slowly drag him off the bed lol.....

Andrew will go out in the cold as long as he has his fleece shirt or his snow coat on... but the rain - oh HE-double-hockey sticks no! The ONLY way I've gotten him to go potty in the rain is with an oversized raincoat (so it covers about every last inch of him) and if I go out as far as the deck stairs. Otherwise, he'd hold it for a day.
The poodle is a short bus backseat window licker and will go out in any weather and prance about in it. *shakes head*

Oreo will NOT go out in the rain..... heads through the garage all gung ho... till I open the door and he realizes it's raining, he stops dead in his tracks. Then of course I quickly get the "WTF Mom?" look. But, he will go to the beach and dig foot deep mud holes, submerge his head hunting rocks and sticks.... rub his face on dead washed up sea creatures. But acts like the Witch from the Wizzard of Oz when there's a little shower... I sympathise.

SUGAR its going to be close to 60 degrees on FRIDAY!!! I'm planning on making plans to go somewhere with ROcky just dont know where would be clear of snow. ANd must be careful as last weekend some girl went off a cliff walking her dog on a trail in Rockland County. Both are dead. Have to find some place clear of snow and salt up here. I have one place in mind in the next town there is a paved walk that has been kept clean. Only issue is there can be alot of people walking dogs and no place to go off to the side as other dogs pass too much snow still. So it can be a challenge.
