Tried to do a nose game today.
Started by teaching sniff then touch. tried to move on to more than one container with food. Rocky would just steal the container with food and run and pull the lid off before I could get it from him. Have to look for larger heavier containers. Maybe screw them down to a piece of wood.
I must say he had fun.
Going to try some shoe boxes next. Maybe those plastic shoe containers would work. I was using the small Rubbermaid ones for food. Like fruit cup size. Not good.

Lol CA your Rocky reminds me SO much of Bruiser! We once tried a shoe box with holes cut in the sides and lid taped shut with treats inside. He didn't understand the concept of moving the box he just tore it to shreds lol. Have you tried any of the IQ puzzle games with him? I bet he'd love them. I ordered a couple plastic ones from here: www.bestfriendsgeneralstore.com/unique_dog_toys_c/dog_toy_puzzles/Dog+IQ+Puzzles They can be expensive but Bruiser has a blast with them and it's very entertaining to watch lol. |

No I have not and was wondering where to get them. I am going to make one with the muffin tin and tennis balls.

We had the tug o jug Rocky ruined it in a few days by trying to eat through the plastic then he decided if he chewed the rope enough more treats would come out. In less than a week it was ruined he chewed the rope until it was in half.
We also have a buster cube but that makes him crazy. I would like to try some of the puzzles.
Thanks for the Links wish I could actually see them in person so I can make a decision.

CA, Bruiser would do the exact same thing if I bought him one!
I can try to get a video of both Bruiser and Aida playing with them and post them. Hopefully I can get them up tonight, if not first thing in the morning they'll be up. This way you can see the 2 they have. They're on the first website I posted for you (bestfriends one).

Thanks wish I kept the broken tugojug think I put it in recycling. I was saving it just did not know what for. Could have used it for some game I suppose. Maybe for another dog.
