6. During the year 1996 to 1996 there were approximately twenty-five deaths that were directly associated with dog bite attacks.
7. Approximately one third of the homeowner’s insurance policies that are paid out nationwide are associated with dog bite attacks.
8. Research shows that the most dog bite attacks occur in the month of August and this is believed this is because of the long hot daylight hours along with the combination of more adults and children spending time outside and at gatherings.
These are some of the yearly dog bite statistics and what they show is how many dog bite attacks occur on an average and what breeds of canines are more apt to attack.
This is including both injury dog bite attacks and fatal dog bite attacks in Los Angeles and it includes dog bite attacks that have occurred in La Quinta or Los Angeles for example.
