I bought a Freedom Harness from Carolann's source at www.wiggleswagswhiskers.com/newsite/freedom-no-pull-harness.htmIt's a 1" medium, and was very easily adjusted to Sedona's size. It arrived only four days after I ordered it. I had placed the order, and decided to purchase a nice martingale collar after that, and all I did was email the company to ask if they would add it to my order, and that was not a problem. Great customer service! It's ver well made and well thought out. Extra padding for the chest area. I used it for the first time tonight. Sedona was very comfortable in it, The Sense-ation that Mary gave me is a chest-connect halter, and it did lessen the pull factor, but put alot of torque on Sedona's shoulders and neck. The Freedom harness has a middle of back connect, and distributes the pull torque evenly around the thorax area. Sedona seemed more comfortable with this harness. However, she is less stressed in the darkness than during daylight hours, so that may be a factor. I'll try it tomorrow in the daylight, and see how it goes. So far, I like it. Mary, I'll donate one to your next foster so you can evaluate it. Or, stop by and check out Sedona's. Keep that in mind.

Thanks for the review Dave. I have been wondering how it works. Currently a sensation harness user myself. Harley does well with the sensation but always looking for something new!
Give CC a kiss for me and Rocky & Lola too.

Yes the owner of USA dog is actually the inventor and patent holder. I was given a lesson on how it works and that was the one thing that was stressed was how front connect only can twist the dogs body in a way that can do damage. When I use the harness I connect to both the back and the front. Because of Rocky's size he can pull harder when it is only attached in the back. However I can use that back martingale to lift him into the car when he does not want to get in. I have also used it to pull myself up when down low on ground. Like a service dog harness. anyone who chooses to try one or any of their products you must buy from USA DOG SHop for RPB to get donation from your purchase. usadogshop.com/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=150&products_id=536

the one thing that was stressed was how front connect only can twist the dogs body in a way that can do damage. CA, I didn't realize this. Good info! I always connected in the front because if I connected in the back, neither dog felt the leash tighten and they would just pull and pull. Lately, I have just been walking with the martingale collars. Both dogs seem to understand loose leash walking a TON better by just using those rather than a harness. Honestly, they have never walked so well! I do like having a harness on them though just in case I need to grab it in an emergency. I have also tied knots in their leashes so that if I need to quickly get them closer, I can.

So, we used it twice this morning. It's not a no-pull harness for Sedona!
I have a new martingale collar ordered for her, maybe with two hookups there will be less pull. It's very easy to get on and off. Sedona walks better so far, more comfortably it seems. When she does pull, it's easier on me, too. I like this harness.
Oops, I just realized that I posted the wrong link. I did buy it through USA Dog Shop, Carolann's link above. So Mary gets her cut, too.

Very cool, Dave! Thank you for the review. I was just talking about this harness last night with a friend. Then I sign on and see this thread ;D
Actually, I may take you up on that offer to come see how it works in person.....I was missing my little CC Bean this morning. Would love to see her.

Freedom harness has a front connect and a back connect you can use both or just one. However like I said the inventor suggests better to use the rear connect instead of the chest. With Rocky however the rear connect not so easy but on my moms lighter dog I can and my mom can literally pick her up off of the ground with out hurting her. check out the link posted by Dave it explains the harness. I also use the sensation. I switch off between them as I have not decided which I like best and actually it keeps Rocky on his toes. When he starts pulling on the sensation then next time I will use the freedom. I might try connecting on just the back again and see what happens. I have also just connected on the front. I have also connected onto all three back and front attached to collar as well. I also have a rope style lead called marine dog lead which also was purchased from usa dog which has a clip on both ends however heavy and would rather have had a custom lead from Ellas which I have been working on thinking up just have not placed my order yet as I think I can modify one which I have already purchased from ellas.

No such thing as a no pull harness when it comes to these dogs if you ask me.
