With over 5,000 dogs and their human companions, there are many activities to enjoy while supporting Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure of Central and South Jersey. To date, we have raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to help fight breast cancer. RPB will be vending at this event. It's gonna be a long day, but fun, and we will have a full group of volunteers along for the ride - if anyone else is interested in coming to hang out, chill, talk dawgs, as well as just enjoy the event, please come on down!!!

That sounds like fun, see if hubby will take the ride with me. Too bad we have to leave Pookins home-multi dogs multi people she'd have a Scooby breakdown.

My son has too do some volunteer hours for non for profit. If he is available (get day off work) would love to have him come out. And me too. Like how far from the Jersey shore is this. I probably could def get him out there if he can do this then go to shore on Sunday. or something. Which also reminds me. What can I have him do from here to get volunteer hours? Believe it or not the local shelter turned him away. How bout things like printing up street team material and bringing to local shelters? PM me if you have ideas or need help with anything from here. BTW he is 21 not a little kid.

I think it's about an hour from the various shore points (Pt Pleasant/Belmar, a little further to Seaside).
I'll think about what sort of volunteer stuff your son could do to get some hours.....he's not techy, is he? We need someone to rework our blog.

Do you have a canopy/tent thingy? Yup, we have a full table/chairs/tent set up. Our booth is the bomb, if I do say so myself ;D I also have a mesh crate that I could bring and have set up so you don't have to worry about lugging around a wire one. It's good for when a dog needs a break from environmental stimuli. |

My son is up for it he actually has friend who has apt at college there Ryder college. He is going to see if he can get day off. Not exactly a tech person but can figure things out. Very knowledgeable full of facts about anything he learns. Loves History. Im going to have him do some of the street team stuff too.

How about I get together info on the freedom Harness and where to purchase. Wonder if they are planning on attending this event. I will have my son help with that, good way to collect some volunteer hours.
