A kit that includes the hardware and one year of tracking service will be available in September for $199.99. Verizon Wireless provides the 3G network service (one year included with the price of the kit) to provide location data from the GPS. Additional trackers can be bought for people with multiple pets.

Neat, but $200 is not cheap!! Also, it kinda looks similar to a shock collar and I wouldn't want people thinking that's what it is... It's nice that they are starting to make them, though. In a couple of years there will probably be plenty of options and maybe then I will get one.

The price and wish it was like tiny micro sized for some of the more adventurous cats too, I'd like one with a beeping tracker like on car key tags.
