How annoying are the ads on this forum? We pay to keeps ads off and the amount we pay is based on page views. RPBF's traffic has been increasing as we've grown and we love it! But that means we'll have to pay more to keep ads off. We are one of the few forums that don't have ads cluttering up and distracting our forum space. However, because we aren't rollin' in it, we have to use our funds wisely. Basically, I'm considering nixing ad-removal. Will ads detract from your forum usage? Do you feel you will visit less often? Do you notice that the forum is slower/more difficult to navigate with the ads? Your input is really appreciated!  |

Adds don't bother me, and anything that helps RPB not have to spend extra money is fine by me  |

The ads don't bother me at all. And if anyone is annoyed by them, I recommend installing Ad Block Plus. It's a plug-in/extension available for Firefox and Chrome browsers.

They don't bother me, half of them are for proboards anyway. The only time I am annoyed by ads is when they talk and none of these do. Don't waste RPB's money if you don't have to!

It makes the page slower to load, but really it's not something you need to spend money on.

Thanks guys, I'm going to look into ad block.
Since this forum is one of the main ways we reach out to folks, I like to make it as user friendly as possible. But as slow as things have been this year, I can't justify spending the money.

I couldn't deal with it guys, I had to get rid of the ads. They really detract from the forum, IMO. As long as it doesn't get too pricey, we'll try and just keep this place ad-free.
