There is a white and black dog, sitting to my right, staring at me... and doing his under the breath almost whine. I'm trying very hard to ignore his behavior, yet it is getting on my nerves. I'm going to get up in a few seconds and walk away, still ignoring him. But I wonder if I should tell him no whining.
Dogs are a lot like kids some times.

Haha! Saxon does that sometimes when he wants attention.

Exactly like kids, you see the shadow on the other side of the bathroom door and that whine asking when you're coming out (assuming they're not in there with you already)

Lucy does that under the breath whine only when she has to go out in the morning. Her other whine is a normal even more annoying whine. I swear the older she gets the MORE she whines and the only thing that stops it in the moment is to say no to her. I'm sure that makes it worse in the long run because then she knows she will get attention even if it is just me saying one word to her harshly and then her stopping.

Rocky does a silent whine. I say nothing. I ignore and eventually he falls asleep. My husband on the other hand cant deal and he will yell and tell Rocky to get out. (our bedroom for example.) Rocky will usually leave. He also does a quiet whine like a baby comforts them self. He will do that if I go outside and leave him in. He lays there and whines almost like singing to himself. He eventually lulls himself to sleep.
